Acting & Theatre

I started acting around seventh grade in my school’s middle school drama program. Well, technically I started acting in my church’s Christmas play when I was in kindergarten, but I don’t really count that.
That middle school play, however, is what sparked my passion for theater. I’ll never forget sitting above our performance of “The Nutcracker”, dropping snow on the sugarplum fairy, and watching in wonder as I dreamt of auditioning for our next show.
The first day of freshman year was when I finally got my chance. Ever since then, my life has changed.
I have been non-stop in our school’s theater department since my first audition. I’m constantly working on, back, and off stage, for just about every performance I’m involved with. Theater has been an incredible chance for me to express my artistic nature and dreams and has led me to many unforgettable friendships, opportunities, and growth - both creatively and personally.
Overall, acting and theater are truly some of my greatest passions. No matter the performance, I always fight to be a part of the whole picture, and will always treasure the good that theater has done for me.
